Custom Unit Converter
This calculator allows you to create visual and custom unit conversion flows. Below are the main features and instructions for its use:
- Drag and drop interface:
In the sidebar you will find different modules to convert units (mass, length, volume, area, temperature, energy, power, electricity, speed, time, data, pressure, among others) and calculation or custom modules. Simply drag the desired module from the sidebar onto the canvas. - Module configuration:
Each module can be configured independently. You can:- 1. Select the source unit and destination unit using dropdown lists.
- 2. Enter the value to convert.
- 3. In the case of calculation modules, enter additional formulas or connect the result of one module to another.
- 4. Edit the title of each module directly on the canvas or change its background color, allowing you to easily identify each conversion.
- Module connection:
The tool uses visual connections to link modules. This allows the result of one conversion to propagate to another module, making it easier to create composite conversions or more complex calculation flows. - Zoom and pan control:
Click the lock icon to toggle zoom. You can zoom in or out and pan the canvas using the integrated controls or touch gestures (on mobile devices), which helps you manage diagrams with many modules. - Save and load diagrams:
Once your conversion flow is configured, you can save it as a JSON file. This file stores the position, configuration, and connections of all modules. Later, you can load this file to restore your diagram and continue working on it. - Custom converter:
In addition to standard conversions, you have a “Custom Unit Converter” module where you can define custom conversions by entering both the conversion formula and the desired units.
⚠️ Warning! If the browser is refreshed, the data configured in the custom unit conversion calculator will disappear from the screen. No calculation data is saved on our servers. Optionally, you can download the calculation flow (JSON file) and re-upload it as needed.
Do you want to see other calculation tools?
The previous calculation tool is used to create custom and tailored unit conversion flows. You just have to drag the modules to the canvas, configure and connect them.
In addition, you can expand the tool to full screen, choose different zoom modes, or save the calculation flow you have created to retrieve it whenever you want.
